New York City: Bus Riders to Access Arrival Information via Mobile

June 30th, 2005 | by amarfresh |

The MTA has approved a program which will track NYC buses in real-time throughout New York City. The program is designed to prevent bus “bunching” and will provide riders with accurate times as to when the next bus will pull up. In addition to having digital displays at the bus stops, riders will be able to call a number to hear exactly when the next bus is due to arrive.
