Verizon Wireless Set To Roll Out Music Service

June 30th, 2005 | by amarfresh |

Verizon Wireless “announced” that they plan on introducing a music download service similar to iTunes in “the next couple of months”. The news was not an official press release, but rather derived from comments made by Verizon CEO, Denny Strigl at a conference. I wonder if this will affect Verizon’s adoption of the forthcoming iTunes-enabled phone from Apple and Motorola.
