Esmertec and LG announced a multi-tasking Java technology on an LGE F2400 cellular phone. The "F2400 phone is a GPRS camera phone equipped with features including SMS, EMS, MMS, Email, Bluetooth, Java, WAP and USB port. This phone will be commercially available in the coming months."

Reuters reports that Cingular may be the first wireless provider to carry the forthcoming iTunes phone from Apple and Motorola. Apparently they are hammering out the revenue sharing details between Apple and Motorola.
