Forget T9, iTap and Graffiti - Introducing SHARK

July 15th, 2005 | by amarfresh |

Another textually.org post introduces us to SHARK. Now we can type by connecting the dots letters on a virtual keyboard.

Easier than tapping I suppose, plus it uses image(stylus-stroke) recognition and a word database to aid input.

“Shark (Shorthand-Aided Rapid Keyboarding) is an advanced pen-based shorthand method that allows users to input words into mobile devices by tracing them letter by letter on a virtual keyboard.

But we still all know that morse-code is faster than any of these technologies.

Interesting, and probably faster than Morse Code for the average user. I do use Morse Code when driving to chat with friends, but never in any other mobile situation
