Big Brother is Tracking your Mobile Phone
December 22nd, 2005 | by amarfresh |The US Department of Justice has been hammering the courts for the ability to track mobile phones without warrants. Several failed attempts did not deter the DOJ from their mission. It seems that they eventually found a court which was stupid sympathetic enough to realize their vision.
The EFF notes that, despite the first three denials, a new court has given the go ahead, and apparently wasn’t concerned about how this might violate privacy rights. As the EFF notes, there’s no one to appeal this ruling, meaning that there’s now a big legal black hole for future attempts to do the same.

It could have many implications, it should be applied only on the persons against who, there is doubt of being antisocial or insurgent. Not handled properly can only infirnge only on personal liberity and freedom.
