Judge to Deliver RIM-job?

February 24th, 2006 | by amarfresh |

In this post I will do the unthinkable and link both to Engadget and Gizmodo.

If you haven’t been awake for the past few months, you should know that today is judgement day for RIM’s Blackberry.

Is today the day that Judge James Spencer will order RIM to shut down its US network, leaving millions of BlackBerry users either in the lurch or dependent upon a somewhat sketchy workaround? (Engadget)

With 81 percent of business reporting that their Blackberries are invaluable to making their thumb-typing employees look like total assholes everywhere they go, this is big news. (Gizmodo)

Uhhh, don’t they already look like total assholes? (At least when compared to Sidekick owners?!?) I actually know several Crackberry toting professionals and they are only “partial” assholes. :) jk

The decision comes down at high noon. Oh and Gizmodo has a funny poll - “What will happen when Blackberry goes dead?”.
