RIM Judge Balks… Adjourns Hearing and will Rule Later
February 24th, 2006 | by amarfresh |So, the waiting game remains for RIM and NTP. Who knows when Judge Spencer will hand down his ruling. I don’t think he is held to any schedule.
U.S. District Judge James R. Spencer said he will rule shortly on a shutdown and on how much in damages Research In Motion must pay Arlington, Virginia-based NTP for patent infringement found by a jury in 2002.
A lawyer friend of mine always claimed, “Justice delayed is justice served.” Well, at least for now (and at least for RIM.)
