Alltell’s “My Circle”: network agnostic “in” calling

April 24th, 2006 | by amarfresh |

The US cellcos promote brand loyalty amongst friends and family with programs such as “In Calling” where calls within the network are free at anytime. Unfortunately there is always the one or two friends who is on another network and it winds up costing you dearly in peak charges to talk to them.

Alltell announced My Circle, a “friends and family plan” which allows users to choose 10 friends on any network to whom you can place and receive unlimited calls.

Of course, you’ll need a rate plan of $59.99 or higher to qualify for My Circle, but once you sign up you can switch up your My Circle members at any time through your online account.

I really appreciate the circle of friends method, however when you want
to change it, it is not user friendly at all, its almost impossible to get into
your account to change it. I’ve been working at it for 3 days. You definitely need to do something about it.
