charging station in the wild

I’m back from my trip to Oregon. En route I found a cell phone charging station. I must not travel enough, because this is the first time I am seeing one.
I posted my mobile pix to txtdiary.com which I found today after fat-fingering fluckr.com (flickr).
Apparently they are marketed and sold by smartcarte.
