Wow…you’d think Oprah would have been the first daytime talk show host to do something this goofy, but no. Rachael Ray, TV’s second-newest daytime chatterer, is teaming up with Epic Records to produce voicetones for all major U.S. wireless carriers. No word yet on the sort of things you can expect to hear Rachael say, but I’ll bet the top seller will contain the words “gets strangled” in the file name.

    Rachael Ray!Rachael Ray!Rachael Ray!

“The siren of success calls the unaware to the rocks of overexposure and burnout.”These days the media seems to have set a full-speed collision course for Rachael Ray.Sure, she’s a good cook and her meals have been helpful to many-but seeing her on so many Nabisco boxes is a little too much!(I work in a supermarket.)Her show can be fun and she seems to be a nice person-but boy,has she been in so much so often.

Nowadays, people are spelling the name Rachael in this fashion.I have always spelled it Rachel.Remember Jennifer Anniston on Friends?her character was not named Rachael-but so many are spelling it that way today.

Cervantes said,”Can you ever have too much of a good thing?”But of course, media overkill didn’t exist in Cervantes’ day.I just thought of something-in Don Quixote Part 2,Cervantes stated that Don Quixote Part 1 had become a bestseller within a month. It was impossilbe in the 17th Century, but it wouldn’t be today!:-)
