Web server for your Windows Mobile phone

Back in February I wrote of a web server which ran on a Nokia phone. Well, Microsoft engineers have done the same with Windows Mobile 5. Over at Channel 9, littleguru has created, and is demoing a mobile web server serving images and pages direct from his Windows smartphone. The project, dubbed “Little Sputnik” may be released as open source code.
I did some research on the name. Sputnik wasn’t a Soviet spy satellite as many in the US surmised at the time of Sputnik 1. The name Sputnik means “fellow traveler” in Russian. So this web server can be a fellow traveler in your pocket serving and collecting data about it’s whereabouts (think GPS)… (and then can later evolve to a spy satellite.) :)
Neat.
