Consumer Reports: Verizon Wireless is tops!

In its fifth annual survey of wireless providers, Consumer Reports says Verizon Wireless offers the best service, followed closely by T-Mobile and Alltel Wireless.
However, CR is quick to point out the wireless industry has low customer satisfaction rates, as low as cable providers and computer tech support. Ouch. Chief among customers’ n’er-ending complaints are dropped calls, call quality, and service that craps out when you’re at home.
The CR survey is based on replies from 43,000 readers, with separate ratings complied for 20 major cities
