That may be a good headline for a company looking to sell ringtones; however that isn’t the case for this posting.

The Sun had a story about a UK prisoner who had to get his contraband cellphone surgically removed from his anus. There is only one place for a male prisoner to hide such a thing ya know.

So, 200 stitches later, part of his bladder removed (and I assume a broken cell phone), Martin “Phoney” Mahoney, is recovering in the hospital.

A Prison Service spokeswoman said “There are rigorous search systems in place for prisoners and any visitors in order to prevent mobile phones entering prisons.”

“Unfortunately, however, there are occasional breaches in security. It is now well established that prisoners can and do secrete mobile phones in body cavities.”

You get that? Well established.
